WORKING WITH VOLUNTEERS FROM GOODGYM

Project on the run with Goodgym

As the Area Activator of GoodGym Southwark, it is such a delight to have connected with Get Rid of and Donate (GROAD). Over the past two years and more, we have assisted in various community-led projects that GROAD is involved in. I am thrilled to share my positive experience with GROAD as our volunteers have had the pleasure of working alongside this dedicated Community Interest Company (CIC), and I can confidently say that they are making a significant impact in our local community.

One thing that sets GROAD apart from other donation organisations is their commitment to ensuring specific donated items are put to good use. I have seen firsthand how their donations have transformed the lives of people in our community who are in need through their Open Houses and Rough Sleeper drop-offs. It's incredibly gratifying for our volunteers to see the tangible outcomes of their service, and to know that they are making a positive contribution.

On behalf of GoodGym Southwark, I appreciate the partnership that we have built with GROAD, and I look forward to continuing our work together. If anyone is thinking of working or volunteering with GROAD, I would highly recommend getting in touch with them as you will be making a meaningful difference in your community. Thank you, GROAD, for all that you do!
