Since December 2020, Get Rid and Donate have been a community project for residents of
St Faith’s Community Centre, Red Post Hill, London SE24 9JQ, we operate our weekly ‘drop off’ donation collection services and host ‘Open House’. We invite refugees and families in need to come and help themselves to items of clothing, shoes, household items, toys and books.

EVERY SUNDAY BETWEEN 1:00 - 2:30 PM

This summer, join us for our Summer Special Open House, running every Monday from 28th July to 18th August 2025, at Studio 1 LJ Works, 7 Gastineau Yard, London SW9 7FA. Hosted by Get Rid of and Donate CIC, this initiative offers free clothing, household items, toys, and books to individuals and families in need. Our doors will be open from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and we’ll have fresh coffee waiting for you. It's a warm, welcoming space to connect, choose what you need, and enjoy a sense of community.

Whether you're facing hardship, supporting someone in crisis, or simply looking for a way to engage with your neighbours, our Open House is open to all. New members are welcome, you can sign up during the event and become part of our growing community network. We also accept good-quality, pre-loved donations, and invite you to bring them along during the event or contact us to arrange a suitable drop-off.

With huge donations being dropped off from the community, Get Rid of and Donate required other community points. We were invited by The Edward Alleyn Club, 83-85 Burbage Road, London SE24 9HD, to use their premises to facilitate the need. Drop-offs can be arranged for either location by texting ‘drop off’ to 07944 102 112 for a drop-off code. Further instructions are sent to prepare a safe virus virus-free, and environmentally friendly drop-off.

Please note that items will only be available during the specified Open House hours. This event is part of GROAD CIC’s mission to reduce waste through community sharing, because together, we can turn generosity into lasting impact.
