ROUGH SLEEPER ROJECT

Since 2018 Get Rid of and Donate have supported rough sleepers in London with essential life bags basic necessities to survive on the streets.
We’ve distributed over 3,500 donated items such as tents, sleeping bags, toiletries, waterproof clothing, blankets, duvets, shoes, jackets and winter seasonal clothing - all of which were donated by the community who continue to back us.

“We look forward to our visits to central London, giving back to the community with love from the community,” said Andrea.
We are working with Crisp Packet Project who donate hats, neck warmers, Cpp survival sheets and Cpp Bivi sleeping bags.CPP is all about making something from nothing to help someone. CCP says ‘the project doesn’t just help our less fortunate souls on the streets, this project helps people to be productive and give people a sense of purpose”

We have also partnered with local schools to collect crisp packets on our behalf. Children recycle crisp packets and rough sleepers by donating empty crisp packets we then give to CPP. Our Rough Sleepers project makes a difference by providing ‘life essential bags’ with the donations we receive, made up of clothing, shoes, bedding, and toiletries
