Young Volunteers

Donation Sorting & Processing

  • Help unload, sort, and sanitise donated items.

  • Organise items by category (clothing, kitchenware, books, electronics, etc.).

  • Check quality and safety before items are redistributed.

Collection & Delivery Support

  • Assist in collecting donations from households, schools, or businesses.

  • Help with loading/unloading vehicles and ensuring safe handling of goods.

  • Deliver items to hubs, community partners, or directly to beneficiaries.

Community Hub Support

  • Welcome donors and visitors at hubs or the studio.

  • Assist with organising displays and stock for community distribution.

  • Provide information about GROAD’s projects and initiatives.

Rough Sleeper Outreach

  • Distribute clothing, food, and essentials directly to people experiencing homelessness.

  • Engage respectfully with beneficiaries, offering dignity and compassion.

  • Signpost individuals to additional support services when appropriate.

Events & Fundraising Support

  • Support setup, running, and promotion of fundraising or awareness events.

  • Engage the public to spread GROAD’s mission.

  • Help with digital content creation, photography, or social media on event days.
